I've currently been going through all the big summer blockbusters and thought my followers may be interested in what I think. My scoring system is a simple (0-10) . If you'd like further info on the films leave a comment or message me on FB or Twitter. Enjoy the list and the movies.

This is the End - 9/10
The previews for "This is the End" gave me an uneasy feeling that it could bomb like "The Watch" but it surprised me and was highly entertaining from start to finish.  Especially enjoyable for fans with knowledge of their previous films.
The Heat - 9/10
Director Paul Fieg (Freaks n Geeks) has become a go to guy in the world of blockbuster comedy.  " The Heat " has a premise that has been used again and again but the chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy is undeniable.
Star Trek: Into Darkness - 8.5/10
J.J. Abrams continues his hit streak with another great action sci-fi adventure. The entire solid cast returns and a deeper more concentrated plot line helps Into Darkness approve upon the 2009 " Star Trek " .
Pacific Rim - 7/10
Take every sci-fi action cliche you can think of and jam it into one movie and you have "Pacific Rim" but again if you do it right it still works. In this case it worked for me. Not a great film but worth the price of admission.
Man of Steel - 6.5/10
When critical reactions came out against the movie I was a bit shocked and hoping that maybe they were wrong. My opinion though is the film had a stunted way of telling its story, almost completely using a flash back effect. I rather see the story develop and then the payoff. In "Man of Steel" they resort to someone stopping the action to tell a story and cut away to show him as a boy or teen. Also I always felt superman films had at least a few good laughs. The audience I watched with didn't laugh at all. Great special effects and cinematography help make up for the lack of a cohesive story.

World War Z - 5.5/10
5 minutes in I felt that the zombie film genre just needs a break.

Lone Ranger - 4/10
Words can't explain.

Star Trek (2009) - Behind the Scenes Featurette - ''A New Vision''
